For a long time now, we have worked to create something different for young HS Baseball prospects. We fully support the big travel teams and the major tournaments and top showcases that already exist. But we wanted to be able to offer something very special- something players couldn’t get in any other place. Last year we introduced Super Camp and it was a huge success- we were able to put legitimate college prospects on the field with 10 Division 1 Recruiting Coordinators and provide something no other camp or showcase did.
This year Super Camp II will be at UC Davis July 20-22, 2015
Games, Practices, and all on field activity will take place at UC Davis’ Dobbins Field.
Players stay in the dorms- there is an instructional component and there will be games. We will have life skills, academic planning and mental game components. That part is very cool and will make for a great life and baseball experience. But what makes this even more special is who the coaches at Super Camp will be. Unlike many showcases, we have gotten the actual recruiting decision makers on the field with our kids:
Nate Yeskie- Recruiting Coordinator & Pitching Coach for Oregon State
Jason Kelly- Associate Head Coach & Pitching Coach for University of Washington
Mike Neu- Recruiting Coordinator & Pitching Coach for Cal
Rex Peters- Hitting Coach & Recruiter for UCLA
Jason Dietrich- Recruiting Coordinator & Hitting Coach for Cal State Fullerton
Eddie Cornejo- Recruiting Coordinator & Infield Coach for UCSB
Jordan Twohig- Recruiting Coordinator and Hitting Coach for Cal State Northridge
Ramon Orozco- Co-Recruiting Coordinator and Catching Coach for University of San Diego
Teddy Warrecker- Recruiting Coordinator for Cal Poly
Troy Nakamura- Associate Head Coach & Outfield Coach for University of San Francisco
Tony Schifano- Recruiting Coordinator for UC Davis
Mark Viramontes- Recruiting Coordinator & Hitting Coach for St. Mary’s
Tim Dixon- The Mental Locker (former coach at Air Force)
more to be added!
These are the coaches who make the decisions on whom to offer scholarships to and how much to offer. We don’t know of any other showcase camp in the West that puts players in front of as many decision makers from big-time schools.
Super Camp is open to all High School aged players in compliance with NCAA rules, but the guys who will get the most out of it are potential Division 1 College Baseball prospects.
Tuition for Super Camp runs from $195 to $625 depending on Position & whether the player is staying in the dorms, needs meals, etc. Here’s the breakdown:
