2008 NORCAL FALL SEASON - Tryouts location and time (TBA)

Part of the success NorCal Baseball has enjoyed over the last 15 years is due in part to the training and effort that we put in during the fall and winter season. Preparing players during the fall will benefit the player not only during the high school season but during the following summer. We also use the fall to pick the majority of our summer rosters. This year we will have a two Junior High Teams, Freshman Team, Sophomore Team  Junior Team and Senior Team.

We will be adding a 7th Grade Team and a Senior Team.

WHAT DOES THE FALL SEASON CONSIST OF?

  • The fall season will be 8 weeks long and will run primarily on Sundays. The season will begin on September 7th with tryouts being the weekend of August 17th.

  • Each weekend will consist of a 3-4 hour practice. Practices will include instruction, skill development, game management, and scrimmaging.

  • Practices will be held at either St. Mary’s College or Ohlone College.

  • Each player will be invited to a minimum of 1 tournament during the fall.

  • Players will be given strength and conditioning exercises and drills to work on during the week.

  • Individual Pitching Plans and Hitting Plans will be developed over the course of the fall season.

  • Players will be given a Team Jersey and a Team Hat

  • Guest Speakers that will cover the College Recruiting Process

 

WHAT WILL THE FALL SEASON COST?

 

The cost for the Fall Season will be $475. This does not include any travel expenses for tournaments. Each player will receive a fall jersey and hat.

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FALL SEASON

    

Players will be given the opportunity to continue to train with NorCal Baseball through our 9 Week Winter Conditioning Programs beginning the week of November 5th
