NORCAL AND zATHLETE FORM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
NorCal Baseball has had a rich
and storied history. We are the oldest and most
successful youth baseball program on the west
coast. NorCal has sent over a dozen players
(Including Jimmy Rollins, Dontrelle Willis, Pat
Burrell, Troy Tulowitzki, Xavier Nady, Brandon
Morrow, etc.) to the big leagues from among the
dozens that have played professional baseball.
We have also sent well over 200 players to the
division one college baseball level. We have
also been more successful as a team and sent
more players to participate with the various USA
Baseball National teams than any program in the
country.
We are every bit as proud of the
dozens and dozens of our alumni that have gone
on to be successful in other activities outside
the baseball realm. The relationships formed
through participating with NorCal Baseball will
be for a life-time. The results have already
been truly amazing! We see this as a way to stay
connected to NorCal and your old teammates. Your
time spent here was very special and we
appreciate you playing with us. I hope you
appreciated your time with NorCal as well.
The time for forming our alumni
foundation is now! Our goal is to get every
single one of our alumni to sign up through
zATHLETE. The process is easy. The key to the
success will be for all of you reaching out to
your teammates to invite them to sign up. The
bigger the group, the more we can get
accomplished. Our goal is to use this site as an
information site. We will let you know about
Alumni dinners, golf tournaments, NorCal
baseball results, alumni in the news, etc. We
plan on forming a scholarship foundation as
well. We have always believed that money should
never get in the way of a player participating
in our program and we will never turn a player
away for that reason.
In closing, we are excited about
this new venture. All of you have meant a lot to
us and your legacy is strong. Please help us
form the NorCal Baseball Alumni Foundation so we
can continue what all of you helped perpetuate
since 1992.
